Advent and Christmas Events at St Anne's

6.00pm  Advent Carol Service.  A gentle and reflective service to start the Advent season.  Advent carols, 'O Thou That Tellest' from Handel's Messiah, readings and choral pieces with our Church Choir.  All welcome!  

7.30pm  Baslow Choir Concert.  Selection of seasonal songs and carols.  See baslowchoir.co.uk for ticket details.

9.45am  Sunday2gether All Age Christingle Service..  An informal service for young and old and an opportunity to make a Christingle, sing some Christmas carols and think about the light of the world together.  All welcome!

6.30pm  Candlelit Service of Nine Lessons & Carols   Our own version of 'Carols from Kings' and a cornerstone of the Christmas calendar for many.  Led by the St Anne's Choir, Bel Canto and young soloists, a traditional service of Bible readings and music, blending choral anthems and much-loved congregational carols.

6.00pm  Carols & Beer at the Wheatsheaf Pub, Baslow.  A pub packed with people singing their favourite carols - it's becoming a Christmas tradition in Baslow.  Come and join in - no prior singing experience required!

4.00pm  Crib Service Much loved informal and fun service for young children.  An opportunity to dress up as the Holy family and take part in the Christmas story, re-enacted around the crib.

11.30pm  Midnight Communion All welcome to greet the new Christmas day together in this short, reflective service.

10.30am  Christmas Holy Communion.  Join us for joyful Christmas morning worship.  All welcome!
